Easy homemade pizzas and pizza rolls. Great for kids who want to help in the kitchen and great for picky eaters to eat what they cook!
Serves: 4-6
  • 8 frozen dinner rolls, thawed (we use Rhodes)
  • ½ jar of pizza sauce or your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings - your choice: pepperoni, Italian sausage, sliced olives, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, Canadian bacon, pineapple, etc...
  1. Thaw frozen rolls according to package directions, using a baking sheet, placing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Once dough has doubled in size, preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  3. Use your hands or a rolling pin to roll out/stretch the dough to 5-6 inches in diameter.
  4. Top with sauce, your toppings and cheese
  5. If you're making rolls, grab dough from one side and use your fingers to tuck toppings to the center and roll dough up onto itself. Place these seam side down.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese is melted.
You can speed up the prep process by using the speedy thaw method, if you wish.
